Oladips’ debut album (Superhero Adugbo) is scheduled for release tomorrow, 16th November

Nigerian rapper Oladips is set to release his highly anticipated debut album, “Superhero Adugbo,” on November 16th, 2023. This marks a significant milestone in his career, as fans eagerly await the culmination of his musical journey in the form of a full-length album.

 

The Nigerian music industry is reeling from yet another tragedy as the news of rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, popularly known as Oladips, passing away began to circulate on Wednesday morning.

His management issued a statement confirming the 28-year-old’s demise on Tuesday night around 10 pm, expressing deep sorrow at the sudden loss.

In the late hours of Tuesday, November 14, videos made the rounds on social media of the ‘Lalakukulala’ crooner seeming to have collapsed as people surrounded him.

Before he was rushed to the hospital, the 28-year-old singer took to his Instagram story to post a message asking his friend, @onlyonelifetime, who left home to get him drugs to return home.

In the video, Oladips could be heard earnestly asking his friend to transport him to the hospital. As he was being conveyed to the medical facility, his surrounding friends anxiously called out his name, as he reportedly lost consciousness during their journey.
