A magistrate court in Ibadan, Oyo State’s capital, has issued an order imprisoning Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly known as Trinity, a skit creator.
This follows charges that he sexualized a minor in a viral skit video.
According to Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, the Nigerian Police requested for Trinityguy’s arrest after a video of his risky pranks went viral.
According to a statement made on Friday by the Oyo State Police Command, the skit maker and the parent of the small girl featured in the viral video were questioned by the command and are expected to appear in court on Monday, today.
The counsel for Trinityguy, who was brought to the court by the police, appealed with the court to grant bail to his client before Magistrate Oldáre Adebayo.
However, Magistrate PO Adetuyibi refused the bail plea, adding that the State Ministry of Justice is still investigating the charge against the skit maker.
