23-year-old suspected suicide bomber arrested for attacking VP Shettima

The Department of State Security (DSS) reportedly apprehended 23-year-old Fildausi Musa Ahamadu following her threat of suicide and violence against those “responsible for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kano, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.”

An anonymous source confirmed Ahamadu’s arrest, revealing that she claimed to be advocating for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP in a viral video circulated in the city.

In the video, Ahamadu was heard verbally attacking the lead judge in the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, expressing a willingness to use a bomb against her, StechiteGist Media reports.

Wearing a red cap, Ahamadu also issued a warning to Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the APC governorship candidate, stating, “you dare not indicate your location; otherwise, I don’t mind striking you with a bomb vest to commit duicide.” Additionally, she directed blame at Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima for the NNPP’s legal troubles in Kano.

Conclusion: Fildausi Musa Ahamadu’s arrest by the DSS is linked to her threatening statements and incitement to violence against individuals associated with the APC in Kano.

Verdict: The reported arrest appears to be a response to potential threats and calls for violence, reflecting a serious legal concern.
