Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), went to Oporoza, the capital of the Gbaramotu Kingdom in Delta State, yesterday to try to get more votes in the Niger Delta region.
The presidential candidate met with leaders and other important people in the kingdom in Warri Southwest Development Area during his visit yesterday. This came less than a week after he held a campaign rally in Warri town.
Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, was one of his hosts. He used to lead the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND).
The Pere of Gbaramotu welcomed Asiwaju Tinubu to his palace, where he praised the APC candidate and prayed for him to win the presidential election.
The traditional ruler asked Tinubu, if he wins the presidential election in 2023, to make sure that a deep sea port is built in Gbaramotu, an industrial park is built in Ogidigben, and good roads and bridges lead into the kingdom.
