Who is Muhammed Bulama?
Muhammed Bulama is a seasoned broadcaster and media professional with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Bayero University, Kano, and a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Before his appointment as the Director-General of FRCN, Bulama was the Director of News and Current Affairs at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA)

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) is Nigeria’s publicly-funded radio broadcasting organization. It was established in 1933 as the Nigerian Broadcasting Service and was later renamed the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) in 1951. In 1978, the NBC was merged with the Voice of Nigeria (VON) to form the FRCN. The FRCN operates a network of domestic and international radio stations, including the popular Radio Nigeria and Voice of Nigeria

What does the Director-General of FRCN do?
The Director-General of FRCN is the chief executive officer of the organization and is responsible for the overall management and administration of the corporation. The Director-General oversees the day-to-day operations of the FRCN and ensures that the organization fulfills its mandate of providing accurate, impartial, and comprehensive news and information to the Nigerian public. The Director-General also represents the FRCN in official functions and engagements.
